Gasland I and II

Some say Gasland I, directed by the film maker and artist Josh Fox, was the starting point of the fast growing opposition to fracking, not only in the Americas. Published in early 2010, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary in 2011. It focuses on communities in the United States affected by natural gas drilling and, specifically, a method of horizontal drilling into shale formations known as hydraulic fracturing.

Lateron, in April 2013, the film was followed by Gasland part 2.
