Perspectives on the Future of Unconventional Gas in Europe

This survey does not support hopes for decreasing import dependency of fossil fuels or lower natural gas prices in Europe through unconventional fossil fuel production. The respondents predict clearly higher extraction costs for unconventional natural gas resources compared to today’s wholesale prices.
